Game
Deltatale

The menu has been completed, along with the intro and name selection.

The game will release in chapters, similar to 'Deltarune', with the entire ruins section releasing first.

DEVELOPMENT WILL TAKE A WHILE!

Also, what is the expect length of a chapter?

'Game' page completed.

I will do the rest for once the game's first chapter has been released.

The 'Deltatale' battle system is almost complete, meaning I can almost focus on the main storyline.

I WOULD say it's not long now until it's done - but I'll need all those 2 months. I decided to ignore the vote and make the chapters at LEAST 2 hours.

Thought it might be interesting to include a section that uses all four characters at once - maybe this is a bit overkill?

Some game info:

- Each chapter length will be above one hour (minimum)

- Chapter 1 will be out in the next two months (hopefully)

UPDATE: Player controls + tile system done.

I'd love to know expectations for the first chapter + quality expected.

Just another battle UI mockup.

I will probably stop posting updates for a bit now and continue to develop the game. The next update will be given when the ruins section is completed*. *(not including additional content)

Quick battle preview - I would like to know your thoughts on how this looks and if something should be changed or not.

I am aware it is mostly the deltarune system, which is intentional as it makes it easier to see who is attacking.

The 'Deltatale' icon

(I have also created title text which is original)

More custom assets will be created, EXCEPT music which will be taken from other creators, and changed if necessary.

I would make music, but I am seriously bad at it.

The battle UI has been completed now and only needs a couple more things to be fully functional. Hope this seems good.

As previously mentioned, this is mainly the battle system from Deltarune with a couple small changes as I prefer it over Undertale.

Shoobies leave a sticky trail of mucus in their wake, which can impede movement for any creature that steps in it.
