The new and improved Goodbye Neighbor

Hello, and welcome back to the page.

We apologize for the lack of updates in the past four months, we've been really busy with yet more internal changes.

We hope the wait was worth it.

We have been spending the past few months polishing the game's ambiance, remaking and enhancing some of the old models from the original Hello Neighbor alphas, and coming up with new ideas on how to give this project as much originality as possible.

We present to you: the new and improved Goodbye Neighbor!

It's still a work in progress, you can see some models are missing and there are many empty spots.

This lighting style will be applied to all environments in-game.

We're still working on the gameplay aspects, and we don't want to showcase unfinished mechanics, so it will take a few more weeks before we have fully playable sections.

Regarding the "32Devlog" we planned back in April, it has not been canceled: the screenshots above are taken right in the middle of the area we will use to present how the game will play out.

We also wanted to announce the cancellation of the "Legacy branch" we talked about in our last post (It would have been too much of a waste of time to continue, and the old gameplay aspects would have been completely different from what we have in mind) and of our Early Prototype Remake (It was extremely unnecessary, and we took the liberty of turning it into our own testing playground for other game prototypes).

That's all for this update post, have a nice day.

Whoever guesses the game wins early access to this side project

So

i may or may not make an full art of some person or i may just leave this like that-

We made a lot of improvements on the Freezing Plains visual. Things like pine trees, tiny bushes, some rocks, and others game props!

In the quest for accessibility, I'm adding Resurrection Shrines for players on the 'novice' end of the platforming spectrum.

In order to unlock the power of a Shrine, you must collect 3 'Souls' from your dead corpses! (the floating blue orbs)
