Joy Kill has been added as a mid-way boss. Unlike bosses that can be selected at the end of a campaign, Joy Kill can be selected the same way you'd select a level.

GAMEPLAY
Experience Rogue Deception like never before with 'Endless Mode'. Play selectable levels back to back, endlessly, and work your way up the leaderboards.
Equipment has been added as a collectable item type, obtainable by killing enemies, opening treasure or killing bosses. Equipment will give unique buffs to your character which can be seen in the player inventory by pressing [B]
The difficulty system has been updated with a new system called "Difficulty Coefficient". This will increase slowly over time, causing enemies to deal greater amounts of damage and have a larger health bar.
A Super Dark Deception minigame has been added to the 'Waiting for Players' lobby as extra, optional content. Collect shards and claim them for your team colour, cover the map with your colour to win!
A custom banner system has been added to the game, you are able to purchase banners from the shop alongside newly added avatar icons for awesome profile combinations.
New multiplayer notifications will show up on the left side of your screen for some player actions (Joining, Leaving, Dying, Respawning, Killstreaks, Changing Ballroom Music via Radio)
Enemies now have randomly applied skins so you can experience a variety of refreshing visuals.
CHARACTER UPDATES
On top of all this new content, existing characters also received some nerfs and re-works. Here's the most notable:
Lysander can now move at a slower pace whilst his shift ability is active and no longer remains frozen in the air during this time.
Thingy Majig now has an 'Overheat' mechanic. When using his heavy attack, a bar will fill up. When the bar has been filled to 100%, he will enter 'Overheat' mode which disables his heavy attack for a short time.
Crash's shift ability now forces him into a frenzy, making him faster. When he hits an enemy in frenzy, he will gradually get faster, causing bleeding. If you hit a total of 6 enemies, it will insta-kill all common enemies while dealing tons of damage to elites. It does not work against bosses.
RyGuy no longer uses an ammo count for his axes. When the axe is thrown, he can throw it again once it returns back to him. His ultimate now summons a black hole that pulls nearby enemies into it and doing rapid damage, his team can also attack enemies stuck in the black hole.
Bierce's projectiles now bounce between targets for a short duration. Her ultimate is a radius around her that heals her team, enemies within the radius have their souls exposed. Attacking a soul deals extra damage to it's owner.
Reaper Nurse ultimate now transforms her into The Matron, rather than her healing zone being spawned.
