so because June 27th was my birthday I wanted to make a funtime files related post to celebrate and I decided to talk about its creation

the year is late 2014, I am in 6th grade, me and my friend had just started writing comics together. I would come up with the plots on my friend would put pen to paper. they revolved around his characters and general concepts and throughout 6th grade we kept this up. but a bit into 7th grade he lost interest and mine was at its peak, but I couldn't draw so what could I do. I bounced the idea off of some friends to write my own comic series, even with my lack of artistic talent which was met with encouraging comments. as you may have noticed in funtime files origins the funtimes cannon birthday is January 19 2016, that is because that was when my first comic was written, or at least the first one with a date. however the comics were not about the funtimes, I started writing them before sister location was even announced, originally my comic was about the five children that later possessed freddy,bonnie,chica,foxy and fredbear, the comics basic concept was "what were the children like before they were killed" originally the series was supposed to end with them all getting killed, but I got so into it that I changed the event in which the purpleguy (keep in mind we did not know his name at the time) got caught and never got away with the crime, other fnaf characters got this humanization treatment as well such as the toys and the puppet...then the sister location trailer dropped. I was amazed, the scene with the animatronics on stage, slowly being lit up, showing off the funtimes designs inspired me, and as soon as I saw the trailer I designed (poorly) humanized versions of them and made them the new main characters. this continued until october of 2018, I had a bunch of comic concepts written down and was thinking on which to do next. then one day, while in walmart I was talking with my brother's girlfriend at the time and she talked about doing artwork for a book of some kind, and hearing that put a light bulb in my head, and when I got home I turned one of my comic concepts into the funtime files, I showed the prologue and first chapter to my mother who loved them and this encouraged me to write the next chapter, and the next and the next, then badtime files, then the rest. I wish my brother's girlfriend could have finished an illustration before they broke up but none ever came to light. I'm still looking for an artist to this day

and that was the story of funtime files conception, I wish I could give an exact date as to when the first chapter was written, all I remember was that it was mid october 2018, so its been over a year, coming on two, I have written 6 books and am working on number seven and a spin-off at the same time, the former of which is close to completion.
