Greetings! I wanted to provide a quick update on the ongoing progress. Unfortunately, we've encountered a significant bug that allows players to survive any night. We are actively investigating to identify the trigger without much success so far. (PS Maybe we fixed it)
While tackling this issue, we've implemented several minor changes and have even brainstormed a new approach to Puppet's gameplay (details to be shared later). Additionally, we've enhanced the descriptions in the Extras, made adjustments to the menu, and focused on refining the sound design, including subtitles.
One major reason for holding back the game update is the involvement of dialogue/cutscenes text. I have plans to overhaul all the in-game text, making it ALSO reusable/adaptable for VR game version too while maintaining high quality for both. I'm not entirely satisfied with the current dialogue, and this effort aligns with our commitment to excellence.
Unfortunately, re-rendering assets is challenging due to noticeable changes in files. Hence, we aim to make impactful yet necessary adjustments without compromising the overall quality. Despite facing certain limitations, we want to keep the game looking great and minimize unnecessary alterations.
Currently, my focus is on scripting and collaborating with the VR development team, which has slowed down the update process. However, I want to assure you that this isn't bad news; I remain optimistic about completing this update soon. Our goal is to enhance the gameplay, address existing issues, and deliver an improved experience.
Also i believe some of you noticed that the name of the game has changed to Classic because the VR game will feature handful of changes in gameplay and we want to separate these two projects from each other. Things will be clearer once VR game will come out, release date remains this year 100%
Thank you for your understanding!
