My fellow comrades and weedy friends, thank you for 18 memers on this community, even if it may be not that much.
I also want to thank you all for 150 followers, I still can't believe I got that many people supporting.
But besides the thanks, I would like to talk about the current state of 2.0 and the future of it.
2.0 has been in development since Mid 2017 and as you can see, it's still not finished yet. What's going on? why is it taking so long?
At first, 2.0 was going to include just only the PACIFIST mode, which I assumed it wouldn't take long to develop.
At the time of development, I saw that the game, was weak. It still needed a lot more improvements, and I knew I wasn't going to leave it like that, so I remade the UI and made the new theme song for the game.
Then, while making pacifist, I saw that there were limited modes to play, so I added COLLECTION and EXTRA MEMES modes.
After finishing them, I moved onto pacifist, and made quite a lot progress, until it was %80 percent, then I had gotten another idea, and it was GAMEJOLT ACHIEVEMENTS.
After finishing all of them, and doing a bit more pacifist, I saw that the title screen needed another improvement, so I remade the title screen and remade characters such as WEEDSTER and PAPYRUS.
After that, I was not over, I made more improvements such as making the Gamejolt login screen more dank, adding a General Credits section and a General music copyright warning and setting before playing the game....
So.. What happened to Pacifist?
Pacifist is approximately %85 done, but why am I focusing more on new changes rather than the actual story mode even though there is only One battle and a cutscene to make?!
Tbh, making final battles consume a lot of time and motivation. I remember back in the 1.8 days where the final battle took a damn long time to make. It's that moment again. One other reason is the lack of attack ideas. It's like you're in a car and want to get to the other side , you're ready but there is no bridge. That's the current position..
There is also a Russian translation to implement, which is not that easy to put into the game, but it's a bit more possible thanks to my fellow translators, @Rushan and @DanilKolunov ..
Release date when?!
Hopefully this year. :)
Thank you for reading this. I now understand that I am more keen on improving the game rather than developing itself. xD
Stay weedy...
