No one can hear what Im going to tell you. This place has always seemed to call me and it did so now, too. Those are the reasons why.

[Jack gets closer to the shaft as Jake starts to talk and looks down the ladder. The hole is 6 feet wide and 10 feet long, it was used to gather iron a hundred or so years ago. Suddenly something grabs him, pulling him into the abyss of the mine. Jake reasonably startled runs back to the house and goes back to bed and passes out almost instantly, almost as if all energy was sucked out of him... and it all goes silent.
