Charles seems to work at the shady company jerry mentioned, with him holding little to no knowledge on the 𝘣𝘪𝘳𝘵𝘩𝘥𝘢𝘺 𝘪𝘯𝘤𝘪𝘥𝘦𝘯𝘵 and the warehouse fire. At first i thought he might be the CEO of said company, but from how it's written he himself doesn't seem all that shady. He gets uncomfortable just thinking about the fire and he wonders about why it happened. Something a shady money hungry CEO probably wouldn't care about. While he isn't the CEO, he still seems to hold some power in the company with him having his own office and having engineers report to him. Charles seems to be a decent person as an individual and just someone who works for a shady company but isn't shady themselves.

Also, kind of off topic, i feel like he's connected to Dean somehow. Dean has been teased before to be important, and i feel like charles is the answer to why he is. I don't know how they're connected, but i just got a feeling about it.
