there has got to be a better way of phrasing this, this sounds wrong

bernard fucking tortured brad, buddy

he fucking mutilated your chest

when you were watching bernard force brad to overdose on drugs while using you as a hostage were you thinking "wow this guy has action behind his words, so cool" as he told his men to whack you with a stick so brad finally complies?

when he was holding you up by the poncho and telling brad to choose between the lives of three of his teammates and one of your nipples were you going "squeee this guy is acting on everything he said" as you felt the cold touch of his blade layered in a thin sheet of dried blood from his mutilated followers at the edges as it was prodded against you?

those were basically the only interactions he had with you in painful, restraining a mutant brad and fighting off sweetheart were literally the only interactions where he doesn't use you as a leverage against your own adoptive father
