In the concept, it is Xi (Protagonist of DragonSnow's Dazed) that actually leads the employee cult. Into later floors, the players re-unite Xi with Ed (protagonist of Silenced) - Colin (Protagonist of Changed) is never seen.
(Fun fact: Xi would be portrayed as being shy and easily scared by loud noises. The humans had to calm down Xi sometimes to give them more of a use than to simply follow Xi and part ways for specific floor rooms/objectives.)
