This flower, the Carnation, is a symbol of freedom in my country. It's been fifty years since the Carnation Revolution took place and the dictatorial regime of the Estado Novo was taken down, this happened on the 25th of April 1974

Small side note: this is for a school assignment... But I thought it was a good idea to post it here
