Hi, guys.
It’s been quite a while since I announced Meta Knightmares’ graphical upgrade, and the response was fairly positive! I’m happy to see people noticing the improvements I’ve made so far! However, this post isn’t about that. It’s something else.
As you’ve probably read from the title of this devlog, the game is being put on hold until further notice. Now, why is this? Why am I pausing development of the game? Well, there are a few main reasons for this.
You see, I recently released a new beta for this game to my beta testers to see if any more changes should be made to the game, such as room mechanics, certain graphics, dialogue, etc. And since this might take a while, I think pausing this game’s development for the time being will help tremendously.
The other reason is because I’ve wanted to focus on my other game, Five Nights at Dark Pit’s; Or more specifically, the graphics update for that game. Since this project in particular is just an update with very few major changes, I think this’ll be a good way to pass the time until I’m ready to come back. I haven’t been able to do a lot for Dark Pit’s in particular because my graphics person hasn’t been able to do the new graphics for it lately. So, while this game is on hold, I hope we can finally get more work done with that.
Once the FNaDP update is complete, or close to being done, I may get back to work on MK. And trust me. I‘ll be working hard to make sure both projects are as good as they can be!
