This is day 92 of showcasing my Lego collection from smallest to biggest and today is the first diorama in 2022.

Read article for more details.

This set includes disguised Luke and Han, Leia, Chewbacca, C-3PO who is not broken like my older one I showed a while ago and R2-D2.

This set was one of the first lineup of Lego Star Wars dioramas capturing some of the more iconic moments in all the movies, this one’s the one where they’re in the Death Star trash compactor and barely escaped getting crushed.

Details on this set are good but the better attention is the front of the diorama.

On the back you can put C-3PO and R2-D2 to make it look like they’re trying to shut down all trash compactors.

I fixed this set a while ago because the control panel was too high for R2 so I fixed it to match his height.

The details capture the entire environment with all the trash all over place and adds depth to place.

To make the iconic scene where they almost get crushed first you put Luke in the center of the scene, second you put Leia on the upper left corner, next you put Chewbacca in the upper right corner and finally put Han on the lower right corner.

After that you slowly push the walls and then they all fit together to make it look like puzzle pieces.

The last thing in the quote for the diorama which you can read here.

Overall it’s a good start up, we need more dioramas of more iconic moments in Star Wars (but not 7 8 or 9 please).
