Game
Tales of Alurium

Those of you who've followed on twitter for a while know that a while back, I tried (and failed) to make an equipment system for #TalesofAlurium. I found out that the #GameMakerStudio2 2.3 beta has multi dimensional arrays. I'm gonna try again. #gamedev

So I originally wanted to make this little guy fully bipedal, but visualizing that in my head... It wouldn't have looked good at all. So I just stuck with the quadrepedal walk instead. #gamedev #indiedev #pixelart #videogamedesign #videogames

It took me 3 days to get this done, and I'm kinda proud of it. #gamedev #indiedev #pixelart #videogamedesign

The Battle System is coming together, bit of a long way to go though. Like adding lighting to fire at some point. #gamedev #indiedev #pixelart #videogamedesign

I'm not sure... but I'm pretty confident that I miscalculated the experience gain for the first battle... #gamedev #indiedev #videogames #gamedesign

The battle system is pretty much at a point where I can afford to take a break from it (for now, since it's actually playable), which means it's time for the first battle of the game - a boss battle with a VERY pissed off demoness! #gamedev #pixelart

A while back when I was showing off spells in the combat system system(for those interested: https://gamejolt.com/p/the-battle-system-is-coming-together-bit-…), I made a fire effect... And I didn't like it even at the time. So I remade it! Left is old, right is new. #pixelart #gamedev #gamedesign

New lighting system and an update to the day-night cycle for the game using overlays. It definitely makes it easier to see things at night. #gamedev #indiedev #videogamedesign #gamedesign

This animation... took me way too long to make.

Proportions are "fun"! #gamedev #indiedev #picelart #videogames
