Hey everyone,
we feel like it's time to demonstrate some of the game's gameplay mechanics while revealing a brand new map quite far from Neon City. We hope you'll like what we have been working on for the past few months.
Let's start with some of the most important aspects of a first-person RPG, the combat system.
You will be able to find and obtain any type of weapon throughout the game's story. VFX is still a work in progress though.
Once the player's within a certain radius, the enemy stops following its paths, moves towards the player controller and attacks you.
There are various types of weapons that you'll be able to use. We're also working on implementing melee weapons but that's still a work in progress.
This is the waypoint system. Might not be that interesting but we still wanted to show you that this is working as well. It's useful for things such as cutscenes or events. We hope you see the beacon, we will make some small adjustments so those will be easier to see as well.
Take a look at the game's HUD. It's still a work in progress so don't worry, it will look much better in the final game.
Our next post will showcase the inventory, quest and NPC system so stay tuned for this as well.
