— Potato mines are best to use in early gameplay, so you can get more sun to plant the more expensive plants, like the threepeater

— If the potato mine is on cool down, use other insta kill plants like the squash, or cherry bomb

— In the fog, and pool levels, the last wave has an ambush wave that rises from the pool. Make sure to have an iceshroom ready, because if you planted it at the right time, it “freezes” the pool, stopping the ambush.

— Gargantuars have no need to eat plants, they squash and kill them instantly. When a gargantuar approaches you, Hit him with as many insta kill plants as you can until he turns into ash or falls in defeat.

— When he takes enough damage, the Gargantuar throws an Imp, which are the weakest zombies in the game, however they go very fast and are breached right in your defenses. The best way to deal with this is to use a jalapeño right as soon as the Imp lands.

— It’s much better to use a blover (or cattail) instead of a Cactus to deal with Balloon zombies.
— When you are doing adventure 2, use any pult plant. They are best at killing scuba zombies, screen door zombies, and any other zombie that any plant that shoots straight can’t hurt.

— Starfruit are best when there are a lot of them, they can even kill Gargantuars

— If you’re playing survival endless, beware of Giga-Gargantuars. These are normal Gargantuars except they have way more health (specifically 6000), and have red eyes.

— Another Giga zombie is the Giga-Football zombie. They were black football wear, with spikes on their shoulders. Like Giga-Gargantuars, they have more health, compared to the vanilla Football zombie.

— Umbrella leaves are useful for deflecting attacks from catapult zombies, and can bounce back bungee zombies coming to take plants or ambushing plants in the final wave by placing zombies.

—Plant 1 (or 2)sunflower on each column on the way back.

— Pole vaulting zombies and dolphin zombies can jump over any plant, except tall-nut. Use this to your advantage and stop any zombies dead in their tracks. However, if you have cool down on tall nut, use squash, or waste their vault by putting any plant in front of them.

— Digger zombies can go behind your defenses pretty easily. However, when he’s out, he goes very slow, giving you enough time to do something.

—Zombonis leave behind a snow trail that you can’t plant your plants in. After a bit of time passes, The zombie bobsled team will use their vehicle to go faster in the snow. This can be prevented by using a Jalapeño.

— Use the same loadout for each world. If you have to make a few tweaks, that’s alright.
