Yeah schoolwork and depression is a nasty combo.

If you are even reading this, then thanks. People like you are few. If you've played the game, enjoyed it, or even remembered it (a big goal of mine), then thank you. I want my work to find an audience and make an impact. It doesn't have to impact a lot of people, just make a big splash with the people it does. This has a lot of meaning to me so I'm hoping some fragment of that passion is felt by you.

I'm very used to the near invisibility that a microscopic audience brings. I have spent a lot of time on the internet talking publicly to myself. I've always wondered if anyone actually listened. In the vain hope that they do, I'd like to talk.

I have struggled as my depression has set in. External motivators have almost no effect any more. The only motivations that move me are internal, and they are infrequent and almost nonexistent. I admire the work I've done and want to work on it more... but I just can't. I've never been able to force myself to work without feeling horrible. Not for others, and not for myself.

I've tried schedules which I always fail to follow. I've tried building routines that never stick. I realize now that I've always operated on pure passion, and when that drive goes away like it has, I've stopped dead in my tracks. I can't go on.

I'm sure you can see how this applies to this silly little game of mine. I could make a vain claim that I'm determined to finish it and ignore the fact that it's impossible to put myself to work. So I won't.

I'm struggling. But, to whomever it may concern- you lucky few- I still care about this. I want to try.
