Today, we're giving community owners a new handy option: Posting permissions!


Posting permissions, you say?

Community owners will now be able to set posting permissions for each individual channel within their community. They can either allow everyone to post in a channel, or limit that privilege to moderators only for serious business. That said, all channels will still be viewable by everyone.

How will I recognize moderator-only channels?

Channels that only moderators can post in will feature a tiny padlock next to their title. Inside said channels, the post button will not appear for regular community members, and they will also not be given the option to post to restricted channels via the post modal.

That's... That's it?

It's a small addition, but we hope that it will allow community owners and their moderating teams to organize their community activities better, and improve the overall functionality of communities for everyone!
