Not really sure what to put in the black square below the enemy sprite in the stat selection screen yet other than some random text..

Right now working more on the side stuff you do while not following the main missions, so there's more stuff to do while stuck in Murder HQ.

Completion of the demo might still take a while. Hopefully got a finished demo by the end of this year.

Not really a bible verse for today, but rather a bible worry for today:

I've been noticing that more recent bible translations have been removing words from verses that were left unchanged for a long time.

Take Luke 4:4 in the NIV translation for example:

"Jesus answered, “It is written: ‘Man shall not live on bread alone."

An important end sentence is missing here.
Here is what the NKJV translation has:

"But Jesus answered him, saying, “It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God.’ ”"

Since jesus here is referencing Deuteronomy 8:3 you can still find the full meaning there, however these changes to the verses can cause great confusion (Like it's causing for me :,().

Another recent change in Mark 9:29 and Matthew 17:21 in the NIV:

"He replied, “This kind can come out only by prayer.”"

(Matthew 17:21 has been completely removed from the NIV and now only holds a footnote saying: Some manuscripts include here words similar to Mark 9:29.)

Here is the NKJV translation for Mark 9:29 and Matthew 17:21:

"So He said to them, “This kind can come out by nothing but prayer and fasting.”"

Unlike in Luke 4:4, Mark 9:29 is given a reason why this word was removed. the footnotes for this verse say:

"Some manuscripts prayer and fasting"

These removals are kind of strange, considering that the gospel of Mark has a large chunk of the book's ending not included in some old manuscripts, yet it is still included in current bible translations.

The recent changes are not just in the NIV, but the ESV translation also has this, and one of my friends could confirm these changes are also in his thai new testament bible.

I used to read from the online ESV translation regularly before the many changes kept piling up and I gave up and just decided to switch to the NKJV.

Anyways, bible verse for today:

"Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour." - 1 Peter 5:8 (NKJV)
