Trying to optimize the game even more

I’m focusing a lot on performance, I really want Insanity to be playable at 1440p or 4K. In Unity, I can test any resolution I want even if it’s higher than my monitor’s one because the engine will only change the render resolution, not the screen resolution, so I tested many resolutions with a GTX 1060 and I got the results below (graphics on their maximum level):

  • 720p | 900p | 1080p | 1080p (21:9) | 1440p | 1440p (21:9) | 4K

  • About 200 FPS | About 190 FPS | About 150 FPS | About 120 FPS | About 90 FPS | About 60 FPS | About 40 FPS

I want the frame rate to be about 144 FPS when I play at 1440p, I still have to optimize the game a little bit more.

Halloween video coming _The only relation between the video and Insanity is that they are both about Slender_ I’m going to make a video instead of publishing a good version, I don’t have enough time to develop it.

Classic Slender model... oh yeah *Note: Slenderman’s model will stay the same, I’m just thinking of adding the classic model in a future bonus chapter…*

Upcoming version's release date I’m planning on releasing it in a week, hopefully before Christmas. Here’s a teaser of what this version will have:
