Thank you for your patience everyone! To update you all on the state of the game, I'd like to inform everyone of the recent happenings with the game. Long story short, though the game has been scrapped and remade countless times at this point to make sure it really turns out how I envision it. I understand this may me frustrating to everyone, especially the ones that have been waiting since the very beginning, but please take comfort in the fact that the game is still in the works.
In the meantime, I'd like to finally fulfill a promise I made here quite some time ago regarding the extra content being uploaded to all the TTO-related pages. Very soon, I will be releasing a weekly comic series around the lore and background stories for The Toasted Odyssey called The Consumerian Anthology! As the title suggests, it will be based on a variety of different stories set in the food-based word of The Toasted Odyssey, Consumera. These will be canon and may possibly help you to better understand some characters and motives in the game, but you are NOT required to read these in order to play them. These are and always will be side-stories (well, most of the time!)
Now you may be wondering: 'When and where does this release?' and to that I say, Phenomenal question! I'll be releasing these comics not only on TTO's twitter page but also here on game jolt as well, meaning if you're already reading this here, chances are you'll be just as set to read them as they come out. As for the when, it will release to everyone starting on Wednesday, August 31st. Wait... that's in 2 days! These story pages will release weekly until the inevitable release of The Toasted Odyssey: The Boot Camp Demo: Part 1. That's how you know it's close! Please enjoy everyone.
