Let's get started with this month's devlog!

NEW SPRITER 'DITCHU' JOINS THE PARTY

First of all, I'd like to thank everyone who submited their drawings for our spriter applications.

There were a lot of really good entries, so don't be upset if yours didn't get picked. There might be more chances to join the team in the future, so who knows?

Anyway, Ditchu's application was the one that the team liked the most. As you've seen on the devlog cover, Ditchu animated this cute little monster named Aang.

Here's another animation, this time with Aang noticing the player's presence:

Ditchu's addition to the team will be very helpful, considering we still have a reasonable amount of sprites that need to be finished before we can release Chapter 3.

And that brings us to the next topic of this devlog:

WHEN IS CHAPTER 3 COMING OUT?

We're not sure.

We wanted it to come out in 2020, but that's starting to feel like an impossible task.

We don't want to rush the development of what we think is the best chapter so far, so we think it's only fair that we take our time to create a great experience for everybody, while also improving on the already existing chapters.

That being said, the team will now probably remain in silence for quite a while.

We'll be back with more news whenever we have non-spoiler content to show, or we're ready to present a trailer/release date.
