Here’s what we have for this month:

1. New Designs and Reference Sheets for existing characters

   Meet Niko, a rather moody individual in the Flooded Ruins. He usually spends his time in his home, isolating himself from the rest of the Ruins inhabitants and tending to plants. Nobody really sees him around, but they have started to notice how much cleaner the Flooded Ruins have become since he arrived. His habit to argue with Arachne isn’t helping his social status much, though..

   

Meet Frey, the strong and reliable Royal Guard member stationed between Waterfall and Snowdin. They’re the type of person who sticks to their morals no matter what. You can count on them.

Actually, maybe you shouldn’t. They’re rather clumsy..

Meet A01, a former entertainer in the Underground. He was a robot built by two scientists named Celeste and Othala to provide entertainment and protection to the Underground, singing songs and breaking up a fight or two. He was quickly overshadowed by another robot named Mettaton. Nobody has seen him around since the mysterious disappearance of one of his creators, Celeste.

2. New character scheduled for the Flooded Ruins: Arachne

Meet Arachne, a peculiar resident of the Flooded Ruins. Master of spells and potions, their abilities make them a tough foe in battle. Don’t snoop anywhere you aren’t supposed to, and hopefully they’ll let you pass peacefully. Curiosity killed the cat, y’know..

3. New characters and areas sneak peak (not included in demo)

In the beautiful lands of Waterfall stands a tall castle and kingdom known as the Lotus Kingdom, a hidden wonder of the Underground. The kingdom’s residents are allowed to come and go as they please, basking in the luxury of pure freedom. However, there is a mysterious aura about the place, especially of it’s Queen..

Meet the Queen of the Lotus Kingdom. A loyal and caring individual, despite the cruel and cunning exterior she likes to put on..

She seems to be coming out of her kingdom less and less, though. How strange..

Meet Aalto, the lovable child superstar living in the wonderful Tropical Dunes, bordering Hotland and Waterfall, home to some of the Underground’s biggest celebrities and entertainers. Just try to ignore the thousands living in poverty in the town’s lower areas…

Aalto came into the spotlight not too long ago, becoming the central star of many popular shows and movies. She seems to be tired out as of late though..

Thank you for being patient with me once again. I know this is a rather short devlog, and I apologize for that, as I have been extremely busy with things outside of UTP. I hope the new characters and snippets of story can make up for the lack of actual gameplay, as my computer breaking really discouraged me for some time.
