Hey all, I wasn't sure when I should make this post, but I figured I should do it now, which can sort of explain the lack of a voice lines video and even the soundtrack being uploaded.

As I am developing The Shadow, I actually have to make updated versions of every single character (animatronics and humans) from The Awakening as well. This way they can be better textured and even a little higher quality as I'm not as limited with their polygon counts anymore. I've improved a lot since I first made these guys in late 2023 and of course I want them to look their best!

I'm taking the opportunity to fully upgrade their designs too, though most of them will look relatively similar. Johnny and Harry specifically are probably getting the most drastic design changes, but they'll fit in so much better with the theming to Showman's Pizza Place.

Assuming the whole Range Engine thing continues to go well, there is undoubtedly a chance that SHOWMAN'S: The Awakening could get a remaster and recode made in it. It would be pretty much the same exact game, mind you, it wouldn't include any major changes or additions. It would just have some visual improvements and also it would be made from ground up, so I'm not using a project file that's over five years old at this point, so theoretically it should also run better. The mechanics, sounds, story, and more would stay the exact same.

This is NOT a high priority at all though, as I just had released The Awakening this year. This will be a project that'll be on the backburner for a pretty long time as I continue to focus on The Shadow and maybe a few other projects. I likely won't even talk much about it even when its development is going full speed, whenever that happens.

I can say that you will be seeing the updated designs of The Awakening's characters sooner than that though! I kind of want to hold off uploading the voice lines video and maybe even the soundtrack until the new models are done, so I don't have to feel like they need to be reuploaded just to have the images reflect the new canon (and far more improved) designs I'm happier with lol.

I know it might be a little frustrating but I'm just taking the opportunity to make things even better, because I like doing that!

Just to give you guys an example, here's an image showing off what the upgrade differences will be similar to. The top is a newer model of Showman, and the one on the bottom is what you see in the current version of The Awakening.

Keep in mind that the one on top is actually from like February this year, and the actual updated design for Showman may look just a little different from it, but it is close!

I don't know when the updated models will be done, but most of them will be shown off when they are!
