Update 1.2 launches in to commemorate the 2nd anniversary!


What's new in this update?

New title screen

As you see in the GIF, the title screen looks more satisfying to watch before you start your adventure.

Plus, the logo and the start hint now have more alive entrance animations.

New loading screen

The loading screen in the last 2 updates were so lifeless, so I decided to make it a bit more polished and interesting.

By just adding a tips screen and the same ball zooming effect as shown in the title screen.

And finally... stage backgrounds!

Yep, your eyes didn't fool you! In the last 2 updates, the stages are so empty when there is not even a single background. And to solve it is... Yeah, to add backgrounds. (Yay! )

Some stages got some makeovers and fixes to make the gameplay more fun and enjoyable and even more.

Some more new Dropples!

Also, I might've forgot to tell that they'll appear once you break open their respective capsules

Unique NPCs now have dialogue icons!

I just realized that I forgot to add clouds in the game when I started working on this game, so here they are finally

Update on the Town Square: Added 2 unique NPCs (aka those are not Dropples, but I did add 3 more Dropple NPCs), Trevor the Slitherkin 🐍 and Bonnie the Abeilline ("abeille", bee in French + feline) 🐝

Before I go on to work on Penumbra Forest, thought I'll show the progress on the Dripsdale Dex, one of the new features in Smitty 2

Whew, after more than 2 weeks, I'm finally back to this project (taking a bit of break)

Anyway, this will the be last from the Town Square that I'll share, because I want to start working on Penumbra Forest next
