Update #3: More attacks and a shameless plug!

Hey guys!

Was I supposed to call you “Freedom Fighters?” Meh, that joke got old.

So the number one request I hear the most from people is this: there ought to be more than one attack button. And you know what? You’re right—the more variety, the better the game.

That’s why I’m here to announce the addition of Special attacks!

I don’t have any screenshots yet, because I’m still in the process of editing the sprites and putting the actual moves together. However, here’s the gist of how this will work:

  • Each character will have a special meter, displayed under their lifebar.

  • When the meter is full, pressing the Special button will unleash a secondary attack.

  • Special attacks will drain the Special meter completely—but don’t worry! Your Special meter will refill automatically.

  • Special attacks can be used on the ground and in the air, and will have a “running stage” variation (think like Frontier Forest Act 2).

Sonic and Tails are set to use their iconic Spin Dash as their ground Specials, but the rest is going to be a little more unique. Stay tuned for more info!

In the meantime, I have another announcement to make. You guys like my game, right? Well lucky you—I made another one! Today I released a demo for Mega Man Armada! It’s not long, but it features classic NES Mega Man gameplay, over 40 characters, and up to four players for co-op fun!

If you’re interested, you can find it here:

Stay way past cool, guys! ‘Til next time!

I've updated the character select screen to include the character icons. Looks clean and fills out a lot of dead space.

"Thanks guys for endless hours of fun." 👍

Back in my art school days I used to ride the 710 COPSA line from Parque Del Plata to Montevideo almost everyday. This is the Marcopolo Viaggio G4 Mercedes Benz model from the late 80s, one of the older bus models that was running on the line.

These are background sprites I've created for a game I'm working on at school ^w^ Click on the post to see how the sprites connect. You won't regret it! (personally, I think it's pretty heheh)

I mostly build 3D First Person Shooter game mechanics in Unity, and in this I'm just showing C4 mechanics I made for a little side project I am working on! :)
