i don't want people to think that i was actively making the game all this time, this was the longest break i ever took. it was mainly the typical boring stuff that goes in the way for solo devs: personal life, lack of motivation, etc.
i felt like i was about to go in the wrong direction and that the game needed some redesigning and re-planning, so i took the break to come back with a more fresh mindset and be able to see any blatant issues.
i probably shouldn't have given so much false hope with the frequent teasers, since the actual progress was very slow. for this reason, while i'll be redoing some things, i won't post much until i get to a point where i'm more confident about the game's future.
overall i was just way too focused on things like graphics and sound, and it's hard for me to work on these aspects for a long time without getting tunnel vision and losing motivation. perhaps my biggest mistake is that i didn't make more small projects in preparation to improve my skills.
if things go well, expect the game to come out in 2026, but i won't make any promises yet.
