Update on Dreamy Rainbow 3D Episode 4!
Episode 4 is coming to the GZDoom engine, just like all the previous episodes and Luna Game 3D!


Thank you for your patience — I needed a bit more time to get a hang of a whole new way of creating the game. Stay tuned, because more details and a tentative release date for Episode 4 will be revealed very soon!

The game, previously made in RPG Maker MV 3D, will be rewritten for the GZDoom engine. The story will remain unchanged, but you can expect some changes in certain levels and other gameplay elements. Nevertheless, my main goal will be to recreate what was originally planned for the RPG Maker version.

While developing the game, I will also prepare a demo version to better adapt the game for players’ computers in the future. I should mention, however, that this project remains a hobby of mine (though not my only one), so it will not be my life priority. Still, I can assure you that I will work on it consistently.

I am pleased to announce that work on Episode 4 of Dreamy Rainbow 3D is in progress. The project continues to use the original engine.

A demo version will be available in the first half of February.

Following up on my previous updates, I am also sharing a video featuring short gameplay clips to show the current progress.

Due to technical issues with hardware experienced by many players, I have decided to withdraw this version of Dreamy Rainbow 3D. Don't worry; work is still ongoing. The next update will be released in two weeks (around August 12–13, 2025).

Getting particle systems like this to work was surprisingly tricky. Especially when it came to making it all flip properly when the opposite combatant uses the same attack.
