SQUAM: A Dungeon And Its Victim

Update still on the way, and what I've been doing in the meantime!

Happy Tuesday everyone!

I know it’s sort of been radio silence for a while in terms of the SQUAM update, but I just want everyone to know that I am still planning on getting it done! And there will be screenshots later today!

To be totally honest though, I haven’t done a ton of work on it this week. The features that I said are working in one of my previous articles are still working. My main concerns now are one major bug fix and the achievement system. The Game Jolt GMS API is totally new to me, so it’s going to take some time for me to understand it.

But don’t think that I’ve been totally lazy this week either! I’ve gotten myself sort of set on a smaller pet project now. You can see a little bit of my work on it at this youtube link.

Thanks for taking the time to read this and, remember, it’s you guys (the players) that keep me developing! Feel free to drop any comments or questions you have in this article or on SQUAM’s Game Jolt Page.

Path of Kami: The Evolution of the Lore

I was bored, so... ManutKat.

In the quest for accessibility, I'm adding Resurrection Shrines for players on the 'novice' end of the platforming spectrum.

In order to unlock the power of a Shrine, you must collect 3 'Souls' from your dead corpses! (the floating blue orbs)

A house I've built a while ago. :)

It nicely separates the snowy biome from the grassy one.

It's built with painted Ebonstone.

Why walk when you can jump?

Showing off player 2 😎
