I finally could update this since the jam is over! There are a ton of bugfixes (like getting stuck right at the doorway), easier to tell the progression (some particle effects, voice overs).
Double jump and movement parameters:
More responsive and allow you to jump a little higher. Before the acceleration was too low and you could give input but not move for a while. I had to do a custom double jump since the built in one doesn’t allow you to change the height (it needed to be higher). The basic jump is also variable height which makes it feel like you have more control (also custom). I’m not sure why C2 doesn’t allow these options by default but oh well - it wasn’t too hard to make.
Did I do that?
You can restart with R in case you impale yourself in a tree or fly off the map.
A little “nerf”:
The glider is more manageable/predictable and don’t go as high so people don’t break progression so easily. I plan on adding in a super kite so you can go higher for the next chapter of the game.
Controller support! Wooo!
I actually like playing/testing this game a lot better with a controller so I hope if you have one that you’ll give it a try.

The music. Multiple people pointed out that the music doesn’t fit. I actually wanted to use this music <only> for the graveyards/remembering past part but didn’t get a chance to pick out more and manage the transitions between areas.
A Proper ending (well two that converge back to one) and a little challenge on the bridge area.
