Update

So with everything being finalized i managed to find someone to help on texturing the characters, making the game more detailed than ever, so it might take longer but it’s honestly worth it, also there’ll be new mechanics so the game could make sense, can’t wait for y’all to see it when it’s out

Mario 2 won't take too long, as a lot has already been made, its just the finer details we need (along with design upgrades that are still missing of course)

In case people wonder, skins will also receive upgrades, here's a sneak peek of the upgraded Dr.Mario, Metal Sonic, Mr.L, and OVA Knuckles who will now be known as Treasure Hunter, but will retain aspects of OVA

So development is kinda paused

Its nothing bad, i’m just renovating my house so i had to disconnect my computer for a bit, in the meantime here’s some gameplay screenshots, hope you all look forward to Mario 2!
