Sorry that it's been a while since the last time I’ve given an update on my progress for the game. I haven't really had much motivation to work on or even talk about or give any progress updates on the game. I have been working on the game (slowly) here and there, but I haven't really done much in the last few months or so. I am hoping though that I'll get more time to work on it in the next year, but until then I would like to share some of the things that I have gotten done with in the development of the game.
Development for the game is about 35% finished with. So far, I have about half of the soundtracks for the game done and finished with, I got the script and story for the game about 85 or 87% done. The character and enemy designs are almost done and finished with, there’s mainly only the main people characters that are left to do. If I have to be completely honest…. I suck at making human vector designs, especially in the Scratch editor (or in this case, Turbowarp). So I may decide to do those later, cause I don’t feel like doing that right now ngl. And in fact, I may just draw the human characters instead of making vector designs of them, I would probably have a way better time trying to do that. Maybe. And besides that, the only other things that I’ve gotten done with are the concept art for the game, some of the in-game effects, the game intro, and I’m currently working on the game UI designs and code. Like for the main menu and such. And that’s pretty much it for now. There are some other things for the game that I’m working on, but I haven’t really gotten far enough into that to really talk about them. I’ve also been practicing and working on my coding in the Turbowarp/Scratch Engine, so that I’ll get more experience for this game and other future projects.
But out of all of that, that’s pretty much it when it comes to what I have gotten done so far in development. Hopely I’ll be able to continue to work on the game shortly. Since the new year is coming up in a couple weeks, the game should be planned to release possibly in the summer, or maybe in the fall. We’ll see.
