V 0.8.3 is live.

Dropping a bit sooner than I had planned, but everything came together surprisingly fast.

New Content:

-A new costume has dropped into Possy's Shop... Flipside Phantom Mangle can now be purchased!

-A new secret area has been added into Blacktomb Yard!

Those who visit the PJM Memorial can find a unique reward:

A special costume set for Paperpals.

Oh, and you might see a familiar face there.

Fixes:

Battle:

-Enemy Unscrews now have a 50% chance to fail. If it doesn't kill, the player will instead be hit with 100 damage (which is still bad for anyone at lower levels.)

-Mystery Box 2 has been updated to include a few tier 5 characters (such as Springtrap)

-Limited the amount of times Counter: Bite will trigger, and fixed a bug where they would not remove themselves

-Chica's Flipside costume will no longer swap to the Princess one after attacking

-Challenger rematches will no longer reset a character's stats if they have already been unlocked

(Still not sure what issues with the challenger encounter events are forcing people to sometimes fight characters they would already have, but this should at least help mitigate the issues caused by it happening.)

Misc:

-Due to it being more trouble than it's currently worth to try and keep in, the music volume control has been removed from the options menu, and it's related events disabled

New project is having a fun, early outing.

So, Plan B: The remainder of tonight will run V1 of a solo OCN mode, with an updated version coming tomorrow during the end of the con.

(And a further refined public release of this later on. If there's interest.)

Yeah, we're doing this.

Suppose it's rude to come back doing polls without showing some sort of progress for it.

Save file stuff (sidequests, maps and "autosaving") might currently be a troublesome mess, but at least development on OCN is going pretty smooth.

Still have to address a few tweaks to layering and test some other sidequests, but I think that we're back on track again.

Still deciding if it's worth committing to a full rebuild, but I at least figured out a better way to handle the party swapping mechanic.

While I chip away at the code for XL, I might as well show off the fruits of another thing I had tinkered with: modding custom music into Bionicle Heroes.

First signs of danger.

I might be having too much fun with this process...
