v1.0.1 (The "Cutscenes are finally working, I think!" patch)


  • Fixed a few bugs (One of them being a bug wherein a debug object was visible on LEVEL 02).

  • Fixed an issue with Alex Grayson/The -MOVIE ISLAND- Murderer not becoming more and more agressive during the LEVEL 10 Boss Fight.

  • Changed the end credits (by that, I mean I changed the end of the end credits).

  • You can now view the items and evidence you've collected throughout the game in the Extra Files.

  • There were rare screens in this game, but I forgot to code in the thing to trigger them. Thankfully, this patch fixes that. The rare screens will show up at random, while in the loading screens for each level (Excluding LEVEL 10).

  • The cutscene issue is fixed at last. (Post-release, I couldn't figure out how to fix the issue with them not playing for everyone, until now. I converted the .AVI video files that are in the LEVEL 1-6 Cutscenes into .gif files, which fixed the issue. But, it resulted in the file size being increased. So, in that case, if you ask me in the future why the file size is increased, that is why.)

On a side note, I added a .txt file for you all to download, featuring the tape scripts from Movie Island: THE MYSTERY. It's for those who can barely hear the tapes you get throughout the game.

If you want to download it (the .txt file I just talked about), along with Movie Island: THE MYSTERY, then, go for it.

If you spot any other bugs or glitches, be sure you let me know and I'll try to fix them.
