v1.1 Finally Released!


In the beginning, I created this game for the 26th Ludum Dare competition in April. To my surprise, I came 26th OVERALL, out of 2000 odd people. Anyway, in this version, I’ve done the following:

  • Countdown for the level to start (instead of it starting straight away). It also tells you how big you have to be to complete the level.

  • Increased the time limit on the volcano level. LOADS of people couldn’t finish it in time :c

  • Pause menu works a lot better (and instead now you can just press escape to end, instead of having to use the buggy pause menu).

  • Made the controls more obvious, they are displayed at the bottom of the screen and before you play the game.

Things that WILL be added before I release the next version:

  • Highscores and trophies. Definitely.

  • More levels. Yes, you will be able to go to space!

  • Fix the horrible tile problem that happens in Game Maker (I won’t go into detail, but if you see lots of tiny lines between everything, that’s what it is)

Some time ago, we posted a screenshot of the Mexico level. A curiosity about it is that, like some other scenarios of the game, it was inspired by a real landscape, The Basaltic Prisms of Santa María Regla. It is one of the natural wonders of the country!
