This will likely be DX's final update. I have no future plans for it. Mostly a QoL update that focuses on optimization.
I've made efforts to reorganize the DX source folder as well, should make future game development easier. Keep your stuff organized, I mean it!
- You can now press Enter during stage title cards to skip them, including Cheat Island
- You can now skip credits from Kronic's last piece of dialogue instead of the DX logo
- You can now go back to the title screen from the main menu (this now means you won't have to replay the game for Extras if you accidentally press Enter on the "Game Complete" title screen)
- You can now quit the game from the title screen by pressing ESC, there is a warning screen to prevent it from happening accidentally
- Credits updated to properly credit Rafael Dovalo López and Ongaku Koubou for their respective songs (Bossa Preciosa and Mission Fail, the songs for Idle and Game Over)
- Credits centering fixed
- Credits now only credit the main artist for the songs since they're all instrumentals, should look cleaner now
- Mini credits also look nicer, updated wording
- Final boss cutscene looks slightly better
- Extras credits added via a button on the Extras menu
- Idle music sounds much better
- Idle screen looks much nicer
- Ring sound effect should no longer shatter your ears
- Dialogue visual bug in Offset's House fixed
- Most music changed to be OGG to save on file size, the game is now 151MB, a 38% decrease in file size from 1.1! (should also slightly improve loading times)
- Main menu is now all one frame (you likely won't feel any changes, but this makes the project file cleaner, yes they were all separate frames originally, I was much less experienced back then)
- Find Thinny has a new secret (be sure to click everything to find it.)
