  • The game has been ported to GameMaker 8.2, meaning the game now has audio on Windows 11 and Linux!

    • Added Cherry Treehouse to the credits menu because of this.

  • Rewrote the lighting system to play into GameMaker's strengths, making it run faster!

  • Added coloring to the chest dialogue, like in Deltarune!

  • Thanks to GM8.2, the credits menu can now actually open URLs when pressing Enter!

  • Gave Sylvie an icon in the credits.

  • Fixed an issue in the beginning room where you could get out of bounds.

  • Fixed issues with the sword when holding both arrow keys at once.

  • Rewrote the menus. (Not that you'd notice)

I modded the Shadow Mantle/ERAM/whomstever into a game called "Cute Jump"! Honesty, just adding platforming increases the difficulty by a LOT. (Inspired by NiroAnimations' "ERAM in Mario" fangame.)

i know i just said it was delayed but

VERSION 1.2 HAS ARRIVED! That's right, VBQ Reborn is now on the same version as the original 2023 game! Still no trophies like that one, but I'm honestly too lazy to draw trophy icons lmao
