One of the best updates of Insanity. To play the new bonus chapter, you just have to beat Chapter 3, just like the other bonus chapter.
Major changes:
-Added a brand new bonus chapter
-Changed the main menu’s lighting
-Added a new video distortion effect to the camera
Normal changes:
—The key in Chapter 1 now emits a sound and a lens flare every 10 seconds to decrease the chapter’s difficulty
-Changed Chapter 1’s key’s location
-Added more options to the volume setting
-Increased the flashlight’s range in Chapter 3, the scene was too dark
-Increased the Anisotropic Filtering level of some textures
-Added more props
-Reduced the light intensity of the streetlight in chapter 1
-Edited chapter 3’s map
-Increased the player’s maximum stamina a little bit
-Slenderman’s aggression increases in chapter 1 if you take too much time to complete the objectives
-Chapter 1 has spookier sounds
-Removed an easter egg that was too disturbing to be in the game (I want Insanity to be terrifying, but not too much)
-Removed notes that shouldn’t be in the game
-Decreased the fog distance in the first chapter
-Added and edited some sounds
-Added a fade in and fade out effect on some sounds in chapter 2
-In chapter 2, Slender now becomes invisible if he’s far and behind a wall (he’ll still chase you)
Bug Fixes/Optimization:
-Compressed more textures
-Fixed a bug that would make Slender very aggressive even if he’s far
-Disabled the fog in the main menu to optimize the scene
-Reduced the shadows’ quality and distance a little bit
-Added occlusion culling to the first chapter
-Optimized some models by changing the render method to “Static” and by compressing the meshes
-Fixed all bugs that existed in the graphics’ controller script and in other scripts
