Version 7 is here!

The Official Sonic.EXE Game

Sonic.EXE Version 7 is finally here! This update brings a variety of graphical improvements, audio improvements, no less a few ‘not-so-little’ updates to the game world. To top it off, there are a number of performance optimisations made to the game’s engine to help the gameplay experience feel that little bit smoother.

Some old secrets still lurk, but may appear different in form - and some? May have even been replaced by new, sinister worlds where the influence of ‘X’ has spread. Explore, and don’t think for a second that the path you’ve taken will remain the same - turn back, keep your eyes peeled for changes. You may be rewarded for your efforts. Well… “reward” might not be the word for it.~

Now, this’ll be the last update to Sonic.EXE for a while - my attention is currently on Shrouded, an upcoming Survival-Horror RPG I’m working on.

Stay savage~

Ooof! That poll was SO close. Care to elaborate on your thoughts/opinions regarding your preferred approach below?

Man, the feels.

So. That's not good!

The SSD that had all of Shrouded's assets on it decided to format itself.

The source code and current build are still intact on GitHub, but the raw assets are on that drive. :(

Fingers crossed!

Old one, but eternally relevant. 🙃

Well... shit.

I'll have to dig through one of my remote systems. Might have an older archive of assets stored.

Like I said, the game's current build is intact thankfully - just the raw assets that are currently in the ether.

So, I bought a Master System for my collection. Thought I'd clean it up internally.

Never mind Sonic.EXE. Dead insects, corrosion and bird shit inside a SEGA console?

That's the real Creepypasta.

I've been 10 Years on GameJolt apparently. Pretty crazy. Shrouded's probably been in development for that length of time too kek. #spawnday

Happy belated new year. Still working on Shrouded, don't worry. Been saying it for nearly 7 years now, but hey. I'm picky, and want it to be right! Just been dealing with a lot of work-related bullshit lately: the joys of serving a major tech company.

When you find a game-breaking bug with the core loop.
