Version 9.0.1 is here!

I found a few bugs when I released the version on Steam, hence the reason for it being 9.0.1.

Here is what new stuff you will be able to enjoy in this update


Here we go, starting with the additions/improvements.

  • Shrapnel added when you blow things up

  • Lots more gore including eyes and brains

  • 2 achievements added including a special one just the festive season (Steam only)

  • New difficulty Hell's waiting for ya! added

This mode really shakes up the experience, all guns, medpacks and coins are removed and in order to survive you have to kill for loot, this mode adds some extra surprises too.

  • Extra layer of parallax added to each leve

Lot's of work has gone into adding more layers into each level to give a much better feeling of depth

  • vertical parallax added

  • Grenades now explode on impact

  • Improvements to L11

  • lightest mode is much lighter now

  • Objects that can be used now flash

  • Icon added under player if off map

  • More contrast between backgrounds and the foreground

  • Brightness of torch light increased

  • Improvements made to several levels

  • New fancy camera effect for the boss fight

  • Fix for hard mode and radboy achievements

    Now onto the bug fixes

  • Continue screen fix for L11

  • Bug fix for auto switch to grenade launcher when no ammo

  • Camera shake is now less on mech level

  • Stopped weapons cycling when no ammo

  • Grenade Ammo no longer stacks above limit

  • Lazer no longer stacks above limit

  • Layer issues for beard

  • L2 vent fix

  • Layer fix for score on L11 and boss

  • Fix for saw gun

  • No longer start with Santa hat

I works for a fair few hours to lower the size of the demo, but only needed up taking around 2mb off which seemed like a pointless amount really.

Added two more things to the next big update. The Gameboy style mode (Rad Boy) and the way to get it which is the Pacifist mode. The game alters if you start beating levels with out killing anything, expand for more
