This is Mist aka real name as Millie. When she died and became an angel, well her job in heaven was supposed to kill people from earth what she doesn't want to do. She tried to defend herself but the people from heaven dissapprove her and decided she should be a fallen angel be forgotten. Yet after so many years, she still kills demon who tries to kill the other humans in earth!
So yeah! This is sadly canon.
