Skins are the outfits for the both survivors and killers. There are four rarity stages.
Rare - Pretty common, just give them either some clothes or accessories, or recolors the characters.
Epic - Better, give you themed recolors and maybe gives them some additions.
Legendary - Oh-hoho! Give them a remodels and possible significant changes (animations, chase themes, voicelines, etc.)
JOLTY! - THEY ARE THE TRULY CLASSIFIED SKINS APPROVED BY GAMEJOLT ITSELF! Change them into the other characters as well as give them the significant changes. But often these are achievement skins.
HOW CAN WE GET THEM?
The most of the skins can be unlocked by placing five stickers from the Sticker Pack. The JOLTY! skins can be unlocked as the achievement skins via doing certain activities as certain character.
THEME SKINS
Pride Month - Highly event skins, showing each representations of sexual orientation and/or gender identity. It exculdes fanon orientations to some licensed characters. (Epic)
ITS KRIMAAA - Even skins, heavily based on Christmas. (Legendary)
Le Scary :O - Event skins, heavily based on Halloween. (Legendary)
Easter - Event skins, heavily based on Easter. (DUH) (Epic or Legendary)
Hearties~ - Event skins, heavily based on Valentines. (Epic or Legendary)
RGB - Based on trendy rainbow neon colors, often associated with gaming. (DON'T WEAR THAT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES!) (Epic)
Classic - Based on primary designs of the characters from the piece of media they're HEAVILY inspired of. (Legendary)
RETRO!1! - Based on nostalgic/old childhood media. (Legendary)
Scenecore! - Based on emo/scenecore aesthetics. (Epic or Legendary)
Own Creation - The skins made as OCs for OUR (DevTeam's and your) property. (JOLTY!)
ANYTHING IS A SUBJECT TO CHANGE!
DO YOU HAVE CONCEPTS FOR THE SKINS? HELL YEAH!
For your concepts, please follow our requirements;
Show your FULL concept in form of artwork (Either 2D or 3D, IF POSSIBLE)
Avoid controversial or over-complex designs
Describe your skin's rarity and theme category (if possible)
If your skins is supposed to be SPECIAL, then describe some changes for the character (Legendary or JOLTY! skins)
If your skins are themed from the other character of the shared media (I talk about licensed characters), then visualize them in form of recolors or costumes (Rare or Epic)
If your skins are the licensed characters from the other piece of media, then must be coordinate with their moveset (or at least place references for your concept; JOLTY!)
If your skins are based on users, then give us the direct link to their profile (JOLTY!)
