Hello people of the future looking back on all of the dev logs I'll have made since today, this is the first one.

I will be making an update on the 20th of every month. I started development on September 20th 2021, and so the 20th of each month has felt like an important day for me since then.

I haven't been making many updates on the page but I have been working on this game almost every single day for the past few months.

I started work on this game as I started college. And it is taking up most of my time. But whenever I have free time I am hard at work on my funny ahah internet meme game. Even when I don't have free time I'm mostly thinking about this game.

This is the biggest project I have ever worked on ever, and yet I still don't even think I'm halfway done.

The past year has mostly been spent working on the custom battle system, which is (as far as I'm aware) the only one of its kind for an rpg maker game.

I have also been writing down the game's story and events throughout, as I want to have a solid blueprint of the adventure before I start making it.

Speaking of which, the game still can't even be "played". It is mostly a showcase of gameplay elements and ideas. I don't want to work on making the game maps until I have a good idea of how everything is going to play out, because I do not want to have to scrap big chunks of the game because I thought of a better idea.
