Weekly Update

Hi.

So I have spent a lot of my time over the past week getting familiar with UE4, which has been fun and I decided that I would remake all of my previous models. This may have been a bad idea since it took so much time :( but I think it paid off. Unfortunately I wasn’t able to fully finish up the model textures for this update, but I am still going to post a wip screenshot of the game. Also I am going to put up a screenshot of the old models, just to show the difference. Feedback is appreciated :)

What I did this week:

  • Got comfortable with UE4.

  • Remodelled/texture some assets.

  • Set up temporary lighting.

I would also just like to say again that I am making this game for a college project, which is due in May. This means I sorta have to finish this game done by then. Though if it is not complete I might extend the release of it, so I have some extra time to finish it up.

Big Announcement Hi. I have been working on the game a lot over the past few days and have made good progress. I just wanted to post this update to reveal one of the main characters. I present the badass carrot destroying beast, Mr Fluffy!

What you all think

A house I've built a while ago. :)

It nicely separates the snowy biome from the grassy one.

It's built with painted Ebonstone.

Call it 'wrong turn'!🚫 The feeling of running into a house with only one exit🚪, and being doomed to die. #pixelart #pixelartist #pixelartwork #art #pixel #indiegame #IndieGameDev #indieartist

Some time ago, we posted a screenshot of the Mexico level. A curiosity about it is that, like some other scenarios of the game, it was inspired by a real landscape, The Basaltic Prisms of Santa María Regla. It is one of the natural wonders of the country!
