Welcome to the Synthestesia Devlog!

Hello! Thank you for taking interest in Synthestesia. This is a game idea I’ve had for a long time now. I love puzzle games, RPGs, and music. So I thought, “hey, let’s mix those three together!”

I started this project on March 15th, 2018. Though I haven’t got past designing even the tutorial, I thought I’d open up a Devlog. I already have most of the achievements ready for use in-game, so I already had Synthestesia created in my Dashboard.

I never planned on actually using this Devlog, but here we go I guess.

Feel free to follow up on updates to this Devlog. I’ll be posting updates such as when I finish designing a puzzle, when there’s new art, a new demo, and more. I’m working on this game in collaboration with Stachi. We will be trading game files on regular occasions, and chatting about what we should and shouldn’t add.

Once again, thank you for taking interest in my game. It means a lot, and I hope you’ll enjoy what is to come :)

Demonstration of the spells and their effects :)!

A house I've built a while ago. :)

It nicely separates the snowy biome from the grassy one.

It's built with painted Ebonstone.

Showing off player 2 😎

What do you think?

Call it 'wrong turn'!🚫 The feeling of running into a house with only one exit🚪, and being doomed to die. #pixelart #pixelartist #pixelartwork #art #pixel #indiegame #IndieGameDev #indieartist

These are background sprites I've created for a game I'm working on at school ^w^ Click on the post to see how the sprites connect. You won't regret it! (personally, I think it's pretty heheh)

Drawn in Piskel using my mouse. Whaddya think?

I worked so hard to get all four of them to the end safely, but then...
