hello everynyan!

i wanted to talk for a bit

for my last post on this account

the day i started this account was the same day i entered a community about a child who fell into a world of monsters

in some routes, that child left death and destruction in their path

but in one route

the child learned all sorts of things

met all sorts of people

and shared good times with their new friends

when i entered the undertale community

my main goal was to get myself known

i had seen all those aus and fangames

and heard the names of the people who developed them popping up everywhere

and i thought

wouldn't it be cool if people knew my name?

so thats what i decided i would do

but after nearly 3 (or 4?) years

and several canceled projects

i considered giving up

but when i looked back on it

even though nothing really got finished

i realized i still got a lot out of it

i learned more about the community

i learned more about how online stuff works

i met amazing people

shared fun moments with them

and made good friends

most of which i still talk to

but even though

some disappeared

and some stopped replying

im still glad i met them

i know i never had released anything big or did anything impactful

but i still learned things from trying

and thats whats stuck with me

i still want people to know my name

yeah, i wont lie about that

but now, more than that,

i want to make things

and have fun making them

things my friends and other people can enjoy

and maybe through that

i’ll meet more people again

even though it has its rough points (and trust me, it has A LOT)

(dont hate me lol) i still

like this community

i like it here

i like how common it is here for people to just

make things

i like how its a space where people can be as creative as they want

especially when it comes to fangames

(and the number of fangames that this community has is more than ive seen in any other community)

anyway

im glad i came here, and after all this, i want to start over

not really “starting from zero”, but more like

i’m moving because i feel weighed down by what i made before

like a past “me” that i’m reminded of every time i look at this account

im not trying to hide my past or anything like that

i just want to start in a fresh space where i can make things without thinking of all the things i’ll never finish

so yeah

i hope i can actually finish something someday

and i hope people will like it

i already have one idea

although its deltarune related

and thats pretty much all i wanted to say
