A Lifetime of Realistic Simulations

What? "A Lifetime of Realistic Simulations" is evolving!

It’s been 2 years since I created this super-short life simulation game for the GameJolt GDC Jam. It’s always been a dream for me to take that initial idea to new heights and create something more extensive and diverse. Progress has been slow at times because of some major life events but I appreciate the irony of it all.

I’ve been on a roll lately! The game’s main phases have been established along with a variety of at least 7 different endings so far. I’m currently working on all the in-game artwork for these phases.

More on that soon..

Today was a lovely day at the beach and we bought kid sized buckets and shovels to build the most beautiful sandcastle! (we're adults)

I've been jamming! This is PHOTOCHRONOGRAMMETRY, my entry for this year's Epic MegaJam using Unreal Engine 5 + RealityScan. It's a small prototype, but I'm really proud: https://frycandle.itch.io/photochronogrammetry (will be uploading this to Game Jolt after the jam)

I asked Game Jolt what kind of content to post and ended up sharing ALL THE CONTENT in a wacky experimental video...

We used clay to sculpt and carve ourselves some pumpkin lanterns for Halloween! 🔥

It's here! I've launched the new game-page and website for Imagine Lifetimes, taking the initial idea of this Jam-game and turning it into a full project: https://gamejolt.com/games/imaginelifetimes/348701 Let me know what you think!

I went for a lovely walk to unwind from game development today and ran into some nifty guerilla marketing for APICO by @tngineers

Actual footage of me smashing my boat into the nearest lighthouse after accidentally awakening Cthulhu with my fishing rod...

Due to some of the most inconclusive poll results ever and pressure from the fans (@CROS @thoro @lorac ), I was forced to bring out my inner TikTok content creator and record a funny video. It's wacky and wholesome and I'm dropping it THIS FRIDAY! :D

This knight in shining red armor thought he could single-handedly besiege our beloved castle but was defeated by invisible archers!

Hey Game Jolt, it's Tim! (Frycandle) I may or may not be working on the announcement for my upcoming first-person puzzle game after going full-time game-dev recently and setting up a brand new Newsletter & Discord server. https://frycandle.com/unannounced-project/
