Say Undertale were to get a remaster, would you want the random encounter method to change?
And to explain the options in more detail:
Undertale just has a simple step timer. The game counts your steps and if it reaches a certain value, you get an encounter. The more you kill, the bigger the steps become.
Undertale Yellow has the same system, but the encounters are spread out to specific rooms and the rooms have a limit to how many enemies you can kill before that room is marked as empty and you need to move on.
In Deltarune, you can see what enemies you'll encounter (unless they come in a group) and they're highlighted in a red aura and are spread out, although some objects can hide themselves as enemies. Sorta similar to UTY mechanically. With Deltarune's system, you can also easily avoid encounters.
