What do you get when you merge a duck and a light bulb?

A completely irrelevant introduction to this DevLog!

Well, partly irrelevant. After all, ducks are pretty and so is our code now that we have refactored it.

Say welcome to our new prettier, fancier, and more flexible code that will allow us to add more items, terrain types, and overall features with ease!

But what about the light bulb, you ask? Well, what do light bulbs and rocks have in common? Exactly, they're both affected by gravity!

No more evil witchcraft of levitating rocks. No more futile endeavors to reach a rock that is so high that makes you sad because you can't collect

your precious material. And with this, no more over-dramatic DevLog text about ducks and rocks.

Let's talk bugs for a bit. From dirt dropping leaves to trees disappearing from all existence, we had it all.

Imagine trying to fix the physics for some floating pieces of large pebble, clicking a button to test your work, looking away for a bit, and then looking back only to find the sky filled with boulders soaring next to the clouds to infinity. That is exactly what happened and I've got to say, it was pretty mesmerizing.

As cool as this bug was, it had to be resolved but it did give birth to some cool ideas that you can be waiting for.

Speaking of new ideas, we actually have some pretty interesting ones in mind that we haven't really seen in a lot of games in this genre.

This makes the development process even more exciting and I think you're in for a treat.

So keep in touch and give us your feedback ^^

This has been Alex, see you in the next one!

Today I was setting up the location of the first boss. His name is "Father" and he is the first of the Patagonians. His task is to guard the road to the House.🛡🗡 Bookmark pre-launch page🔖🔖🔖

Updated the chest in the maze, adding sound, particles and better animation. But what's in the chest?

If you have more of an acquired taste, the restaurants in Niravasi have you covered! Maybe skip the salad bar, though.

OK, this starts to be too tricky puzzle already :D
