What's the latest?

Hey there, everybody! Speaking of which, there is an “everybody”! I’m very excited to have this many followers. I really appreciate it!

So, yeah, it’s been quite a while since the last news update. Where to begin… ah yes!

Heroicube participated in a competition this past summer, and received the coveted “Epic Potential” award, which is a top ranking and gives me the chance to work with professional indie developers on Heroicube! The competition was known as the Mythos Challenge, and was hosted in Portland. It was awesome because the game actually got to be exhibited in the Portland Art Museum for three months!

Other than that, the competitions continue even further. As part of my high school’s FBLA club, I won regionals, and am taking the game to the state competition. Yes, that’s right. I’m a high school student! Anyway, it should make it to nationals, but I’ll try and keep everybody updated here on GameJolt. I do not think the game will be modified too greatly in the future, unless I really get some free time and desire to get it on mobile devices.

OGPC 9.0 has begun, and with that I am developing a new game! It’s actually not just me this time either! I am leading a great group of three other people. The specifics of the game are to be announced sometime later, but you had better be on the lookout for a new addition around April 23rd! Go ahead and check out OGPC if you have no clue what I’m talking about here: http://www.ogpc.info/ OGPC 8.0 is what Heroicube was created for.

I think that is it for updates as far as the game goes. Thanks for taking the time to read all of this! Stay tuned.

Let me introduce you to the new Mech line: Gendai Spec. Those are Mech that specializes in surprise attacks, covered operations, and stealth. They are equipped with melee weapons but one of Gendai's frames supports sniper rifles.
